Dr. Rivas Castro is a Science Justice Activist in Los Angeles, where she is an Assistant Principal at Alliance Renee & Meyer Luskin College-Ready Academy. Dr. Rivas Castro holds a bachelors of Science degree in physiological science from UCLA, as well as a single subject biology credential with a Masters in Teaching and a Doctorate degree from USC’s Rossier School of Education.
